Welcome!

We're thrilled to share our happenings with family and friends across the country. We've been married for almost five years. We moved to Sacramento, CA in May 2007 to begin new careers and a new chapter in our lives together. Since then, we have purchased our first home, adopted another dog (Felix) in addition to Easy, and welcomed our first child, Carter, into the world in 2008. Our second child (sex and name still TBD) will be arriving near Halloween this year. All of these topics will, we're sure, be the subject of future posts. Check back regularly for updates! Saturday, January 17th was an extremely busy day for us, as a family. The first part of the day was dedicated to Carter's baptism and reception (see the post below). The second part of the day was spent celebrating Jackie's 30th birthday. A group of close family and friends went to dinner at Dave and Jackie's favorite Valley restaurant, Alessio. The food was amazing, the friends were lovely and Dave managed to surprise Jackie with a new snowboard and bindings! A rousing success all around. Many of us then trooped out to the Tender Glow (a dive bar near Bill & Michelle's house) for multiple rounds of drinks and rousing games of darts. It's safe to say I'm now addicted (ha ha, to the darts). Thanks to all who helped to celebrate!
