Welcome!

We're thrilled to share our happenings with family and friends across the country. We've been married for almost five years. We moved to Sacramento, CA in May 2007 to begin new careers and a new chapter in our lives together. Since then, we have purchased our first home, adopted another dog (Felix) in addition to Easy, and welcomed our first child, Carter, into the world in 2008. Our second child (sex and name still TBD) will be arriving near Halloween this year. All of these topics will, we're sure, be the subject of future posts. Check back regularly for updates! Hot Dad at the Grocery Store

First, a little context: Yesterday, I complained that we have been without cereal and milk for three days now. Throughout my pregnancy, I craved cereal intermittently. We did get out for a bit yesterday, but did not make it by the grocery store. I fed Carter this morning, handed him off to Dave at 7:30am and went back to sleep.
The story: I woke up at 10:30am to find out that in the time between, Dave had changed Carter's diaper, put his "Daddy's Little Wingman" onesie on him and bundled him into the stroller. The two had walked to Starbuck's (just down the street from us) and then to the grocery store where Dave had loaded down the stroller with 4 different types of cereal (he wasn't sure what kind I wanted), 2 half-gallon containers of milk, and bananas. Anyone remember that Diet Coke commercial with the hot dad at the grocery store? That was my husband this morning! I only wish I had been awake to witness it all and/or take pictures.

Was Dave wearing his old hoodie with the peanut butter on it at the grocery store? 'Cause that would be have been HOT.

I'll try calling again in a day or two, and will hopefully catch you during a moment of consciousness.
